Dr. Raji Tawadros Salih, Director of the Directorate of Health Affairs in Qena, witnessed the training on a basic care package for nursing, which was held by the Nursing Department of the Directorate, led by Asma Ramadan, Director of the Nursing Department, and in the presence of officials of the Central Department of Nursing at the Ministry of Health.
“Tawadros” stated that the training included holding two sessions for members of the nursing staff and nursing officials in the departments, from the unit nurse, the head of unit nursing and the departmental nursing supervisor, which training continues until February 12th, which aims to provide many important activities to improve the performance of the governorate’s nursing, the most important of which is motherhood and childhood programs. And family planning programs, vaccination programs, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, communication skills, in addition to training in all administrative work and all basic care skills. The training was attended by managers of the departments responsible for those exercises.

Ramadan stated that the training package that is being implemented greatly contributes to improving the professional performance of the nursing team and raising their level of performance.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health extended thanks, greetings and appreciation to the training team from the ministry for providing them with this huge package of training that is aimed at improving the health sector in the governorate, as well as thanks to the team of trainees who attended their important role while performing their work in the departments.
