Qatari Minister of Environment: A resounding success for COP28…and the UAE Pavilion presents distinctive initiatives

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al Thani, Minister of Environment and Climate Change of the State of Qatar, praised the tireless efforts made by the United Arab Emirates in its presidency of the COP28 Conference of the Parties, and producing impressive results during the successful summit, praising the UAE’s role in putting forward sustainable initiatives that benefit The world and the Gulf region.

The Qatari Minister of Environment added in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, on the sidelines of his attendance at the meetings of the COP28 Conference of States Parties in Dubai, that he visited the UAE pavilion, where he was briefed on many sustainable initiatives in the field of transition to renewable energy and the circular economy, pointing out that COP28 witnesses A remarkable presence and turnout of representatives of countries around the world in order to showcase their innovative services and products.

His Excellency called for the need to invest in the climate summit, come up with important recommendations that benefit the world’s population, support developing countries, and develop innovative solutions to confront the repercussions of climate change.
