Qatar World Cup 2022 .. 10 qualifiers for round of 16 in World Cup so far (infographic)

The national teams of Argentina and Poland have been awarded the pass for the round of 16, after finishing first and second in group C, at the end of the group stage of the World Cup, which is taking place these days in Qatar and will go on until December 18th.

The Argentina national team scored a victory over Poland, and went up together, on goal difference, to Poland at the expense of Mexico, who beat Saudi Arabia, but called the tournament after finishing third and fourth.

In that order, Argentina and Poland join the 10 teams that qualified for the round of 16, namely Australia, England, United States, France, Portugal, Brazil, Netherlands, Senegal, Argentina and Poland.

And only 3 teams have decided to qualify for the round of 16 after taking top marks after the first two rounds, and they are France, Brazil and Portugal.

The France international claimed their first round of 16 qualifying card on their way to defending the World Cup title they held last season, and the roosters went on to back-to-back group stage victories, after winning their opening match against Australia on a score of 4/1, then beating Denmark on a score of 2/1, to take top honors.

Portugal joined France to book their second round of 16 qualifying ticket, after winning their opening match against Ghana by three goals to two, then winning their second match against Uruguay with two clean goals, to reach the full score and officially qualify for the next stage.

Brazil joined France and Portugal, after making back-to-back victories, winning the first round against Serbia with two clear goals, then won the second round against Switzerland with a clear goal, scoring 6 points and reaching qualification for the round of 16 .
