Qatar with aid to Gaza again; 24 tons of relief goods were sent

Doha: Qatar with more aid to Gaza. On Thursday morning, the Qatar Amiri Air Force arrived at Egypt’s Al Arish Airport with 24 tonnes of relief goods, including an ambulance, medicine and hospital equipment.

Qatar sent 38th relief flight to Gaza. A total of 1243 tons of goods were brought by Qatar to Gaza through Egypt in two months. Six ambulances were eventually dispatched to Gaza’s health services. From Al Arish they will be brought to Gaza via the Rafah border.

Delhi : Families of 8 ex-Indian Navy officers have appealed against the death sentence in Qatar. The Indian Ambassador to Qatar met and spoke to everyone in the jail. The Ministry of External Affairs also informed that the case has already been heard twice. The ministry is closely monitoring the proceedings and providing all support, an external affairs spokesperson said in Delhi. In October, a court in Qatar sentenced eight people, including a Malayali, to death on charges of espionage.

Captain Navtej Singh Gill, Captain Birendra Kumar Verma, Captain Saurabh Vashisht, Commander Amit Nagpal, Commander Purnendu Tiwari, Commander Sugunakar Pakala, Commander Sanjeev Gupta and Sailor Ragesh are in jail. Officials who worked for a company that builds submarines for Qatar were arrested on suspicion of leaking information. The decision of the Ministry of External Affairs is to take the next step after observing the action of the Supreme Court.
