Doha: The match picture of next year’s Asian Cup football in Qatar has been revealed. The opening match is between Qatar and Lebanon. The draw was held at the Qatar Opera Hall in Doha. Former India women’s player Maymol Rocky was also in the draw.
The process of dividing 24 teams including India into 6 groups has been completed. China, Tajikistan and Lebanon are in Group A along with the hosts and defending champions Qatar. Australia, Uzbekistan, Syria and India teams have been placed in Group B. Hong Kong and Palestine will try their luck in Group C, which is dominated by Iran and the UAE.
