And the Qatar News Agency stated, on Wednesday evening, that the Qatar Fund for Development had announced a new agreement to supply the Lebanese army with fuel, for a period of 6 months, at a value of 30 million dollars.
The agency quoted the Qatar Fund for Development as saying that “the Qatari aid comes in the context of the firm commitment of the State of Qatar to support the institutions of the Lebanese Republic.”
She explained that “the fund had provided support to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, by covering the expenses of diesel fuel for a number of health facilities and facilities in Lebanon.”

And the Lebanese Army Command announced, on the twelfth of August of last year, the receipt of the first batch of a financial donation, at a value of $ 60 million, provided by the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, as a contribution to support the salaries of army personnel.
The Lebanese army said, in a statement, that it “received the first batch of the Qatari financial donation and began distributing it equally to all military personnel.”
