“Qatar Islamic Bank Chairman Sheikh Jassim Plans Fourth Bid to Buy Manchester United from Glazer Brothers”

tvOnenews.com – Qatar Islamic Bank chairman, Sheikh Jassim plans to submit a fourth bid to buy Manchester United (MU) from the Glazer brothers.

Currently, INEOS leader Sir Jim Ratcliffe is the favorite to own Man Utd after reportedly making the highest bid.

Ratcliffe reportedly made an offer to the Glazers of £6 billion, with 20 percent of which will still be owned by the businessman from the United States.

According to a report in The Times, Glazer and Ratcliffe will now be planning a meeting to hold further talks.

The Glazers were happy with Ratcliffe’s proposal because they could still own Man Utd shares even though they were no longer in the majority.

While Sheikh Jassim wants to have 100 percent share ownership of MU after being purchased later.
