Doha: Distribution of new clothes to orphans in many countries around the world, including Somalia, has started in connection with Eid-ul-Fitr. The clothes are distributed by Qatar Charity. Officials informed that clothes will be distributed to children in other countries in the coming days. The project aims to bring the joy of Eid-ul-Fitr to children and reduce the burden on their families.
More than 7,065 orphans from different countries will benefit from the project, Qatar Charity said in a statement. Eid clothes worth more than 1.4 million riyals will be distributed.
Qatar Charity has appealed to service-minded people in Qatar to participate in the clothing distribution during the remaining days of the holy month of Ramadan.
