Moss will also be there to entertain travelers with facts and insights about the events of the moon on 26 May. NASA calls it the ‘super blood Moon eclipse’.
NASA explains that the super-part comes from the fact that the full moon will be near its closest orbital position to Earth. This will make it bigger and brighter for the human eye.
From some parts of the world, the moon will appear reddish due to a total lunar eclipse. As the moon passes through the earth’s shadow, the moon will appear darker and redder.
The US space agency added that the reddish color of the moon that will appear is difficult to predict. Because this activity can also be affected by dust in the atmosphere.
The total lunar eclipse, the only one in 2021, will be visible from Australia, New Zealand, parts of the Pacific and the west coast of the US.
Qantas flights to the middle of nowhere or without new destinations will be on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. This fleet was chosen because of its fairly large windows and is ideal for looking outwards, especially during the full moon.
