Abdul Hamid Al-Hagan announced Qalyubia Governor, Suspension of studies tomorrow, Saturday, corresponding to March 25, 2023, in all public and private schools and Al-Azhar institutes, which work on Saturday (students and teachers) within the governorate, due to bad weather conditions.

The governor explained that he excludes leaders, work crews and shift women, according to the needs determined by the directors of the various directorates.

This comes within the framework of keenness to provide an opportunity for the agencies and concerned authorities to take all necessary measures and deal immediately with the repercussions of instability in the weather, and to preserve the safety of citizens.

The Qalyubia governorate witnessed the spread of the phenomenon of lightning and thunder in the sky of the cities and villages of the governorate this evening, Friday, amid moderate to heavy rains in some parts.

Engineer Mostafa Megahed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Drinking Water and Wastewater Company in Qalyubia and the Managing Director, announced raising the maximum level of readiness, deploying rainwater harvesting equipment in all branches of the company, and taking the necessary measures, coinciding with instability in weather conditions.

It should be noted that the Meteorological Authority warned in a statement of expectations of sharp weather fluctuations, and the emergence of medium and low clouds accompanied by rain in separate areas of the country.

Mujahid directed the presence of all the elements concerned with the operating rooms of the company 24 hours a day to receive all complaints of citizens regarding rainwater pools, follow-up on the condition of the various streets and monitor any emergency cases in order to quickly deal with them, as well as an order to make an inventory of the places where rainwater accumulates, and it was confirmed From the stationing of suction and sweeping vehicles and the necessary drainage equipment in the main and secondary streets and various squares to face the accumulation of any amounts of rainwater and immediate intervention in the event of any problem.

Today, Friday, the Qalyubia governorate witnessed moderate rains in the cities and villages of the governorate, accompanied by cold weather, amid the announcement of Abdel Hamid Al-Hagan, the governor of Qalyubia, to raise the emergency level to confront and remove the effects of rain and water pools in various regions, in order to prevent traffic disruption.

A statement by the governorate revealed that, according to the Meteorological Authority, Qalyubia is witnessing cold weather, and this weather is expected to continue until tomorrow, with a noticeable drop in temperature during the night periods.

Major General Abd al-Hamid al-Hagan, the governor of Qalyubia, ordered the presence of all the personnel concerned with the operating rooms in the governorate 24 hours a day, to receive all complaints of citizens regarding rainwater pools, follow up on the state of the various streets and monitor any emergency cases in order to quickly deal with them.
