The Qalyubia Health Directorate announced the launch of the first phase of… “Your Right to Organize” CampaignAs part of the “Our Days Are Better” initiative to provide family planning services in Qalyubia, starting Sunday, November 26, under the slogan “Your Right to Organize,” to provide free family planning services within the 100 Health Days initiative, which is being implemented under the patronage of Major General Abdel Hamid Al-Hagan, Governor of Qalyubia, and Dr. Hamouda. Dr. Hamouda Al-Gazzar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Qalyubia, explained that this campaign comes within the framework of the directives of the Minister of Health and Population regarding the necessity of access to family planning and reproductive health services as a right guaranteed to all citizens because of their positive impact on maternal and child health, raising community awareness and increasing the demand for family planning services, stressing The campaign aims to disseminate and provide free family planning services and methods through hospitals, health units and mobile clinics.
Dr. Nawal Omran, Director of the Family Planning Department at the Qalyubia Health Directorate, added that screening and provision of reproductive health medications and long-term contraceptives will be done for free, in addition to providing health education services. The first phase of the campaign will be in the centers (Banha – Kafr Shukr – Shubra East – Shubra West – Qaha – Al-Khanka), from Sunday, November 26 until November 30. The second phase is also scheduled to start from December 2 to December 6 in (Toukh, Al-Qanater, Qalyoub, Shebin Al-Qanater, and Al-Obour).
