And where is Capital, or who is to blame for the fall of Legionovia?
And you’ve got a cake! During the season, after playing eleven matches in TAURON Liga and four in the Challenge Cup, the volleyball team from Legionowo withdrew from the competition, leaving scorched earth and debts of PLN 2.5 million. The sponsor became insolvent, the club did not get the promised money for their performances in European cups, so the volleyball players landed on the pavement. And those who played in Legionovia in previous years (and they were really excellent players with Malwina Smarzek and Zuzanna Górecka at the forefront), are losing hope of recovering their due salaries. The club, which has played in the elite for eleven seasons, will soon disappear from the volleyball map, like several others before it. And as usual in such situations, the question arises, could this situation have been avoided somehow?
