The reaction of Harilaou Trikoupis is caused by the antics of the Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis, who on the one hand calls on Harilaou Trikoupis to get serious in order to co-govern PASOK-ND and on the other claims that she was… sardam because she prefers single-party governments. In fact, Harilaou Trikoupi detects a toxic game of impressions but also the creation of a climate of artificial polarization, through this tactic of Adonis Georgiadis.
In fact, PASOK-KINAL’s press representative Costas Tsoukalas noted that “we would expect the Prime Minister to recall Mr. Georgiadis to order, unless he is acting on his orders, causing artificial polarization.”
A few days ago, the Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, addressed the seats of the PASOK MPs in Parliament, saying “we have co-governed together and I like you. But in order to govern again, you have to get serious, there is no other way to get the job done. Government means taking responsibility.”
On Wednesday (6/11) he changed his pace and noted that the previous time he had missed it. “It is a sardam,” he said, adding, among other things, that “one-party governments are more effective.”
The comment of PASOK-KINAL Press Representative Kostas Tsoukalas, who mentioned the following regarding the Minister of Health, was perceptive:
“Mr. Georgiadis, -known for the intemperance that characterizes his public speech-, may have been quick to retract the jokes about co-government after his official vacate as Government Spokesperson, however, he continued in the same pattern of relaxed relationship with seriousness and reality by identifying PASOK with far-right formations and populist right-wing parties, notably led by like-minded or former colleagues in the LA.O.S.
It’s obvious it’s derailed.
We would expect Mr. Mitsotakis to have already recalled him to class.
Unless Mr. Georgiadis has taken it upon himself, by order of the Prime Minister, to definitively undermine any possibility of consensus and lead the political confrontation to extreme polarization and toxicity.”
