PWB Rechtsanwälte: Excessive fees demanded

Jena district court imposed a fine with reservations

The investor lawyer Philipp Wolfgang Beyer from Jena was sentenced on September 29, 2021 for excessive fee increases in 79 cases, including 58 attempts. This was announced by the district court of Jena Finanztest in February 2022. Beyer received a conditional fine: If he commits new crimes within a year, he must pay 1,950 euros.

Decisions on three charges are pending

The public prosecutor’s office in Gera also indicted Beyer on January 26, 2022 at the district court in Mühlhausen. She accuses him and employees of commercial fraud in connection with criminal advertising. Mandates were obtained by fraud and clients were deceived about the chances of success. The lawyer is also accused of data protection violations in Jena and commercial fraud in Gera, combined with excessive fees. No decisions are yet in sight.

Inter AG writes to injured investors of Infinus AG

Beyer recently appeared in a new position: as director of the Swiss litigation financing company Inter AG. In February 2022, in letters to aggrieved investors of Infinus AG, this campaigned to take part in “proceedings against the state”. She supports claims for information against the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bafin) and the Ministry of Finance. A processing fee of 498 euros applies for participation. Caution: This is wasted money. The content is similar to letters that Beyer’s law firm PWB Rechtsanwälte has sent out in other cases. Further lawsuits would be necessary to obtain compensation. Investors have never had success with lawsuits against the Bafin.

Beyer has denied the allegations

Beyer did not comment on the verdict, the allegations and Inter AG on the financial test request. On the website of PWB Rechtsanwälte, he sharply rejected allegations in 2020, especially in relation to fraud and data protection. PWB Rechtsanwälte has been on our investment warning list since 2016.
