The Outbreak Management Team (OMT) is the government’s main advisor in the fight against the corona virus. The OMT will meet on Friday for a new advice to the cabinet. Exactly one week later, a new corona press conference with Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Minister Hugo de Jonge is planned.

OMT meeting
But Kuiken thinks that waiting another two weeks before the cabinet takes new steps is too long with the rising figures. She lacks urgency at the cabinet. Hospital administrators shouted in the newspaper on Saturday Fidelity the government to take action.
“The government must make people aware that corona is not over yet and insist on measures such as keeping the one and a half meters and working from home. The urgency of the message has been completely lost. If you wait now, you will come to a point where you need more severe measures,” Chantal Bleeker-Rovers of Radboudumc said in the newspaper.
Cabinet response
