Putzmeister has acquired CPE Machinery Pty Ltd in Australia, making this company the Putzmeister subsidiary in Oceana.
CPE Machinery has grown since its founding in 1978 with passion and enthusiasm from the knowledge gained about all things concrete pumping. Their mission has always been to become the best company in this field in Australia and abroad. CEO David Bond believes this acquisition can take the company to greater heights, merging the global experience of the Putzmeister brand and the local knowledge of CPE’s talent into a stronger company that can better serve the market.

What does this mean for customers? That they will now deal directly with Putzmeister. David Bond will continue to be involved in the project in an advisory role for a number of years. In the coming months, more professionals will also join the team, but for the most part it will be the same people, products and brands (including Trelleborg, Esser, ConForms, Boom Makina and Maxon).
There will be some changes to brand visibility as CPE Machinery transitions to Putzmeister Oceania, primarily to reflect the legal change in the entity.
Putzmeister Oceania is now also responsible for distribution and after sales support for Sany Concrete Machinery in Australia. Sany Concrete Machinery thus complements the existing portfolio by offering a quality alternative at a cost-effective price, backed by Putzmeister technology and experience. There is also an intention to expand the supply of products for the mining industry.
