A traffic accident occurred Saturday evening in Puttelange-lès-Thionville, around 11 p.m., near the crossroads between the D1 and D57, not far from the Luxembourg border. Three vehicles collided. The roadway was very wet. Firefighters from Thionville, Sierck-les-Bains, Rodemack and Hettange-Grande intervened to carry out rescue operations and take care of the victims. Seven people were involved in this accident. A priori, five of them were transported to nearby hospitals for examinations. According to the first observations, they were slightly injured.
The gendarmes of the sector were also on site to carry out the usual readings and confirm the circumstances of the pileup.
