Paratroopers from Belarus and Russia landed on Friday at a training ground near the Belarusian city of Grodno, as part of an alarm exercise, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense informs.
The exercise is due to increased military activity near Belarus’s border, according to a statement.
Both Russian warplanes and Belarusian military helicopters are involved in the exercise.
The Ministry of Defense in Moscow states that they have sent paratroopers to the exercise.
