The expert decided to tell exactly what the president’s defense strategy is
Russian President Vladimir Putin rides in a motorcade accompanied by the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile complex (used as a means of air defense).
In the city, the anti-aircraft defense system protects the car in which the president of the Russian Federation is sitting from a possible attack by drones, Russian political scientist Stanislav Belkovsky claimed in an interview with Olesya Batsman, editor-in-chief of “Gordon”.
“Putin is already traveling with a motorcade in which there is the anti-aircraft system “Pantsir” for shooting down drones,” the expert said.
According to him, the motorcade includes two more Aurus cars. These are specially designed armored vehicles for public travel of the Russian elites.
“… in the motorcade there is now a ‘Pantzir’. Two Aurus cars too. There are two cars so that it is not clear which one Putin is sitting in. This is, after all, a common practice for state leaders,” says the political scientist.
Meanwhile, Russians are increasingly complaining about drone attacks. On March 22, in Crimea, their fleet was attacked by ground drones early in the morning.
The media reported that in Moscow the “Pantsir” anti-aircraft defense system was installed on the roofs of buildings near the Kremlin. Investigative journalists also reported that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, Vladimir Putin began to use an armored train more and more often.
