This system includes bunkers, barbed wire fences, firing positions, anti-tank ditches and barriers.
Due to densely mined fields, Ukrainian troops are forced to move slowly, using shelters in the form of trees and shrubs. Land in the south of the country is mined for up to 16 kilometers. Ukrainian demining specialists estimate the number of Russian mines at almost 1,500 per square kilometer. Attempts by sapper equipment to break through the minefields failed several times due to the large number of shelling from the RF Armed Forces, the magazine concluded.
