The eldest daughter of the President of Russia Maria Vorontsova earned 9.6 million rubles for 2021. Her sister Katerina Tikhonova – 5.7 million. This was announced by the Telegram channel “We can explain”, which has the tax returns of both (2-NDFL). The publication claims that the documents were verified with the help of a source in the Pension Fund of Russia.
Vorontsova officially makes her money in the “New Medical Company”, which specializes in nuclear medicine projects, and Putin’s daughter is one of the five founders of the company.
Tikhonova receives a salary from two places – the “National Intellectual Development” fund, of which he has been a director since 2012 (he works under the “Innopraktika” brand) and the Moscow State University “Lomonosov”. Tikhonova’s income from Innopraktika for 2021 is 3.17 million rubles, and from the university – 2.45 million. According to “We can explain”, she receives slightly less than the salary of the directors of the higher educational institution.
The average exchange rate of the ruble against the euro in 2021 or before the war with Ukraine was 87.1987. The best was 92.9236 on April 20 and the lowest was 80.6101 on October 26. Or, on average, Vorontsova earned about 110,000 euros for the year, and her sister – 65,300 euros.
According to “We Can Explain”, Innopraktika’s profit for 2021 is 810 million rubles, although the fund has not received any government contracts. “New Medical Company” also does not officially participate in government procurement and does not announce large contracts.
Vladimir Putin’s income for 2021, according to his official declaration, is 9.99 million rubles or an average of 113,500 euros.
