“If we don’t support Ukraine, this (Russian aggression – ed.) will not stop in Ukraine. Obviously, Putin is now in some kind of aggressive military mood, and, unfortunately, it is likely that this aggression will continue in other countries,” he said.
In his opinion, the Baltic countries may be under attack.
“Just look at the increase in Russia’s aggressive rhetoric and statements that Russia supports Belarus’ interests in access to the Baltic Sea, as well as the increase in anti-Baltic rhetoric – in any case, in Ukraine it also began with an increase in anti-Ukrainian rhetoric,” Dombrovskis added.
