Putin urges China to end US domination soon

MOSCOW – In the next three decades, China will surpass the United States (US) in every aspect of its economy. The statement was confirmed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, reported by RT.com on Thursday (12/23/2021).

Putin predicts America will lose its dominant position in finance and trade.

Speaking to reporters at his annual year-end press conference on Thursday, Putin pointed out, “Today, China’s economy is already bigger than America’s in terms of purchasing power parity.”

“In 2035-2050, China will surpass it and China will be the world’s leading economy by all metrics,” Putin said.

However, the Russian president continued, the West is working to weaken the world’s most populous country and stifle its growth.

According to Putin, the US -led boycott of the 2022 Olympics in Beijing, allegedly for human rights violations, is an attempt to ensure China “cannot lift its head” above its competitors.
