Russian President Vladimir Putin will reportedly visit China in October to participate in the Belt and Road Forum. Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov did not respond to the report.
Last week, Putin did not attend the BRICS summit in South Africa after announcing that an ICC warrant for his arrest would be implemented. Putin has also pulled out of the G20 summit to be held in New Delhi in September. Putin also did not attend the G-20 summit held in Bali last year. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov took Putin’s place at the BRICS summit in South Africa and the G-20 summit in Bali.

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022, Putin has traveled only to neighboring former Soviet Union countries and Iran.
