But this time it’s very apt: “Russia must stop attacks on Russia.” After all, he is right – in the 90s, the country was so “mined” that without a victory on the domestic front, it would be very difficult to achieve anything significant, vital.
There is one major contradiction in our device that explains a lot. Politics is always determined by the economically dominant class. But we don’t.
We have a higher, namely the highest political leadership, which tries to determine the path of development and the way of life of the country, looks inside Russia, and the economically ruling class looks outside, to the West.
If, looking at what is happening, how the “decisions of the party and the government” are implemented, and you have this contradiction in mind, then there is no reason to be surprised.
But surprisingly, Putin appears to have opened up and recounted last week how he met in the Kremlin with Prigogine and three dozen PMC Wagner commanders. Who, it seems, are rebels, and who, again according to Putin, represent a non-existent structure, the classic “ichtamnets” (ie “those who are not there”).
There is already a lot of room for reflection, but the main phrase that was said at this meeting by the president is: “Well, you are in the Kremlin.”
Meaning – you wanted to talk, here you are. That is, the president was ready to listen to the fighters and solve the problems, but in the usual, constructive way, the information did not reach him for some mysterious reason? See the paragraph above for the answer.
This week, the idea of the murdered Boris Nemtsov “to transfer officials” “to the Volga” was resurrected again. Now it is advertised by the Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin: “We have Moskvich, we have Lada”.
According to him, in the current situation “in no case should we feed our enemies”, who will be able to use this money to support Ukraine. They also began banning officials from using iPhones at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Rostech and the Ministry of Digital Development.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade went even further – it banned employees from using tablets of any operating system for work purposes, except for the home-grown “Aurora”, and invited smartphone and tablet manufacturers to develop a schedule for the introduction of the “Aurora” OS on their devices and start selling them in the consumer segment.
The fact is that the mine laid in the 1990s, “why should we produce ourselves, we will buy everything in the West” – is still ticking.
Last week, Putin admitted this: “Some countries tried in every way to literally hook our country to foreign technological platforms and standards. And I must admit, not without success”.
“That was clear before, so they started talking about import substitution. What did they actually turn into? Did they replace a lot of imports, huh? Great? No. And you know why.”
The path of coercion has now been chosen. If an official or deputy travels with a grant, uses a home smartphone – you see, the production of high-quality, technologically sophisticated Russian things will also grow.
“The idea can be expanded – attach officials and deputies to district clinics, oblige them to live in houses of mass construction, force them to send their children to ordinary schools and kindergartens and so on … An interesting life will begin”.
In addition, during the week, the former captain of the Krasnodar submarine, Stanislav Rzhitsky, was murdered. Karate fighter Serhiy Denysenko was detained and confessed to the murder on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services.
A fairly well-known Ukrainian figure who lives quietly in Russia. However, this is a classic of the work of the special services. But since the attempted murder of Margarita Simonyan and Ksenia Sobchak, prevented by the FSB, Ukrainians immediately began to deny it.
Why did it happen? And everything is very simple. Unlike Dugina, Prilepin, Tatarsky, Simonyan and Sobchak are included, albeit from different countries, in the System. And the System does not forgive attempts on itself and on things important to it, such as the Crimean bridge.
Ukrainian special services are not fools. They know what can be destroyed relatively safely to themselves, so that the Russian people are hurt, and what cannot be done for fear of an imminent Russian retaliation. Budanov, “over the top” with the terrorist attack on the bridge, will not let you lie.
The main world event of the week was the NATO summit. Best of all, its result was illustrated by a photo that went around all the media – a laughing and hugging crowd of Western leaders in nice and expensive suits and Zelensky, alone, forgotten by the merry people, in tattered green clothes, standing a little – far away.
This photo with the sad face of the President of Ukraine became a reason for sarcasm and many comments. The most accurate and philosophical for my taste turned out to be the following: “He just heard the voices of Hussein, Bin Laden and Gaddafi, whom the Americans also initially supported.”
And the supply of Western cluster munitions began at the front, as the West ran out of conventional shells, and the new ones have not yet learned to produce on the necessary scale.
Cluster munitions are banned worldwide. Only the US, Ukraine and Russia did not join the ban convention.
Putin said that the delivery of cluster munitions by the US to Ukraine should be treated as a crime, as the US itself has always called every case of their use that. And he promised a mirror response if Ukraine starts using them:
“I mean, Russia has enough stockpiles of different types of cluster munitions, of different types.”
It is clear that it will not do without this. But it’s sad – unexploded submunitions from cartridges are a danger for a long time. Our land will be mined again.
