The recruitment of students in state-licensed private universities will be stopped. This was stated by a Kremlin decree published in Moscow.

Additionally, some postgraduate students are granted a deferral. The same is true for men who want to become priests or exercise other religious professions.
Students, state media workers and computer experts had previously been excluded from the mobilization, as were men who are fathers of four or more children.
Putin wants to mobilize a total of about 300,000 men from all over the country. After the recent defeats suffered by Russian troops in the war in Ukraine, Russia is looking for reinforcements.
Exodus specialists
According to the Moscow Ministry of Defense, 200,000 men have been called so far. The head of state had recently admitted errors in partial mobilization. According to experts, it has also led to a mass exodus of well-trained specialists from the country.
