Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a frigate equipped with supersonic missiles to the Atlantic Ocean, writes the agency Reuters.
Russia, China and the United States have long competed to be the first to develop better supersonic weapons, which can serve as a means of turning the tide of war thanks to their speed and maneuverability. In a video conference with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Putin announced that the frigate sent to the Atlantic Ocean was equipped with supersonic weapons Zircon. “The latest supersonic missile system has been installed on the ship – Zircon.
