/Pogled.iinfo/ Russian armaments continue to be in demand on the world market, and the portfolio of orders is for years to come, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the opening of the international military-technical forum “Army-2015”.
Putin noted that the exhibition in Kubinka was attended by official delegations from 59 countries, as well as representatives of many other countries. According to the president, the Russian military-industrial complex can offer the entire complex of services – from the delivery of the armament to its post-warranty service, service and personnel training. “I will emphasize, the president pointed out, that we are also open to cooperation, to joint work, to joint development of future prospective weapon models, to the initiation of prospective innovation projects.”
He pointed out that the military-industrial complex should become a resource for the development of many other industries and a locomotive of innovation in Russia.
The president noted that the state will continue to pay great attention to the development of the country’s armed forces, and this year, for example, it is expected that the nuclear forces will be replenished with 40 new ballistic missiles that are able to “overcome any, even the most technically -the perfect anti-missile defense systems’.
Putin pointed out that the examples of combat robots and control systems presented at the forum will largely define both today’s and tomorrow’s Russian armed forces. The President expressed confidence that the enterprises of the Military Industry will cope with the task of making the share of modern weapons in the army reach 70-100% by 2020.
