Russia, despite the efforts of opponents, will undoubtedly achieve its goals in a “special military operation” (This is how Russia calls its war in Ukraine – note ed.). This was stated on Friday by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin meeting with the mothers of soldiers fighting in Ukraine, reports the Tax.
“(Russia’s opponents) ultimately seek to achieve their goals. And we must achieve ours. And we will undoubtedly achieve them,” Putin stressed.
He added that Russia’s opponents work in the information field, encouraging people to destructive actions, “he seeks to devalue the noble impulse to protect the people of Donbass, Zaporozhye, Kherson.”
“There is also an adversary in the information sphere: when you say you are trying to convince someone of something, put some false information, cause him to take action. What actions do they cause? They cause destructive actions that erase , discredit what for you died son,” says Putin, addressing the mother of a senior lieutenant who died during the hostilities. “That’s why all this is being done: to devalue what our guys are doing and to devalue our, in my opinion, very noble impulse to protect our people in Donbass, Zaporozhye, Kherson,” the Russian president explained.
During the same meeting, he stated that it had “become clear” that Donbass should have been annexed earlier.
