Russian president Vladimir Putin is now facing a serious dilemma. Without movement, it will not succeed. And with a move, the Russian army will get a temporary solution for a while, but a complete global failure in the future.
This is what the military-political analyst Oleksandr Kovalenko wrote on Facebook, referring to the information that the Russian Federation once again announced a major move to avoid the large losses in manpower that it will cause against the -Ukraine to fill. Here’s what else Kovalenko wrote:
Putin still does not take this step (movement) even though Russia’s losses exceed 30,000 groups per month. First, Putin perfectly understands the difference between a group that voluntarily goes to kill Ukrainians for a reward and weighs the risks, and a group that is forcibly sent to fight. A body sent to war will surrender as soon as possible. The most shocking example of the past days is the conscripts from the Kursk region – 2,000 surrendered in one week.
Imagine a forced movement in Russia of 300 thousand and if 10% of them surrender – what an exchange fund and disaster for the regime (Putin)!
Secondly, if they move them, what will they arm them with? Even now in the Russian army there is a shortage of equipment in the existing units, equal to 60%-70%. That is, the displaced soldiers will not be able to carry out combat missions and even more of them will die and surrender even more because of the feeling of being trapped and the feeling of defeat, Kovalenko also writes.
Ukraine’s attack in the early hours of August 6 caught the Russian army off guard and brought the war onto Russian territory. Official Kiev announced that they do not intend to take over Russian territory, but that they just want to force Putin to start fair and honest negotiations. So far, the Kremlin has not given any indication of such, except asking for the capitulation of Ukraine in the war.
