Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov responded to publications in the European media about the fatal illness of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to the minister, “sane people, following the daily public appearances of the Russian leader, are unlikely to see signs of illness in him”:
“President Vladimir Putin appears in public every day. You can watch him on screens, read and listen to his speeches … I leave it to the conscience of those who spread such rumors despite everyday opportunities to make sure who and what they look like,” Lavrov said.
He also noted that the priority for the Russian Federation now is the “liberation” of the so-called “DNR” and “LNR”
“The obvious task is to ‘push’ the Ukrainian army and battalions outside the Donetsk and Luhansk regions,” Lavrov added.
Recall, according to media reports, Putin warned that he had only three years to live due to rapidly progressing cancer.
