Putin made the statement on Friday (17/9/2021). “The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) must use its potential to stimulate the new Afghan authorities in fulfilling their promise to normalize life and bring security in Afghanistan,” Putin said.
He spoke by video link at an eight-member SCO summit held in neighboring Afghanistan, Tajikistan.
