Putin has ordered the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus.

He emphasized that Russia will not hand over tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus, but will deploy them in the same way as the USA has deployed its arsenal in Europe.

Putin also promised that Russia would deploy depleted uranium ammunition, that Kyiv would receive such weapons from Western countries. Britain recently promised that it could supply it to Ukraine.

Already at the end of March 2022, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army reported that the delivery of Russian missiles to “Iskander” systems, which have been in Belarus since at least December of last year, has been observed on the territory of Belarus. In January of this year, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus announced that it could be used “autonomously”.

Alexander Lukashenko, the leader of the Belarusian regime, has repeatedly spoken about “Iskander” with Putin, who is trying to get Lukashenko to involve his army in the war in Ukraine.

As Russia’s renewed invasion of Ukraine continues for more than a year, there are growing concerns about the possible use of nuclear weapons.
