Putin said on Tuesday that the Covid-19 vaccine Sputnik V definitely neutralized the coronavirus variant, Omicron.
At an informal meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Putin said a study by the Gamalea Research Institute found that the vaccine provided protection against the highly infectious version of Omicron.
