Doctors of 69-year-old Vladimir Putin have advised him not to make prolonged public appearances after he felt unwell during a meeting with his military commanders, BGNES reported, citing Radar.
According to the Telegram channel, a general from one of the intelligence services, allegedly led by a man from the closest presidential circle, said Putin showed signs of “acute illness, weakness and dizziness” on Thursday during an important meeting with some of his closest senior military.
Fear for Putin’s health comes amid numerous rumors and reports that he suffers from a number of serious illnesses, including suspected blood cancer.
“The president needed urgent medical attention,” the general said Thursday.
Putin’s latest health problem comes shortly after he was forced to cancel the annual and popular “Direct Line” with the public, to which he usually answered dozens of questions from ordinary Russian citizens about the state of the state and the nation.
Although some experts suggested that the meeting was postponed due to the ongoing war against Ukraine, other experts said the postponement was indefinite due to the deteriorating health of the Russian leader.
“A week ago, the president was preparing to answer questions from Russian citizens in late June – early July,” the general said. “But his doctors advised him not to make long public appearances in the near future.”
Perhaps, if Putin’s health stabilizes, the Direct Line will be held in August.
