Putin’s critic is said to have been overshadowed for a year before he was killed
A new investigation has found that Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov was overshadowed by an agent linked to a political assassination group for almost a year before he was shot and killed.
Nemtsov was a staunch opponent of President Vladimir Putin. When he was killed in 2015, it was the highest-profile political assassination since Putin came to power.
Russian authorities have denied involvement in the killings.
