Ukraine’s military intelligence chief, Kyrylo Budanov, has claimed to the Ukrainian newspaper Pravda that attempts have been made to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to Sky News.
Budanov is said to have stated that the assassination attempt was made after the Kremlin’s invasion in February.
He further said that Putin was attacked by representatives of the Caucasus region, but no evidence has been presented for the claim.
The opposition has not yet commented on the allegation.
