The president said so Russia Vladimir Putin during a meeting of the Russian Council for Strategic Development and National Projects.

Putin said as quoted by Russia TodayFriday (16/12/2022).
Earlier this month, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen sounded the alarm over US economic policy, urging the EU to “take action” if it is to be able to compete with government-subsidized green industries of the United States.

Von der Leyen has criticized the tax breaks for consumers who buy American products, introduced with the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), signed by President Joe Biden last August.
The German politician warned that such an initiative could lead to unfair competition, could close markets and thus break crucial supply chains.
Other senior EU officials have repeatedly voiced concerns about an impending recession and potential deindustrialization for decades.
In early October, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo said that unless Brussels somehow improves the situation with rising energy prices, there is a risk of massive deindustrialization on the European continent and the possible consequences in the long run they are actually profound.
