Putin apologizes for Lavrov’s Hitler comment
Russian President Vladimir Putin has apologized for Lavrov’s comments about Hitler, the Israeli prime minister’s office said.
The statement is a reaction to the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who on Sunday claimed, among other things, that Adolf Hitler had a Jewish background. Lavrov has been condemned by Israel, Ukraine and the United States after the allegations.
