Losing weight is not a simple task for many of us, and many believe that the main thing is eating healthy and exercising only helps to get a perfect body.
But there are a group of simple habits that help in losing weight, according to the American “Brightside” site.
Eat unpeeled fruits and vegetables
Eating fruits and vegetables is important to lose weight, but they are more beneficial if they are eaten with their skin because the peels are full of antioxidants and fiber, which helps reduce the feeling of hunger and satiety for a longer period, and also the good bacteria that live in the microflora in our stomach also feed on fiber and produce Fatty acids, which promote a feeling of satiety, as well as can help reduce the incidence of some diseases such as: cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.
Place a mirror while eating
A study showed that watching ourselves while eating greatly affects how much we eat, as this study included 185 students, one half eating a chocolate bar, and the other a fruit salad.
It was found that students who had to eat chocolate in front of a mirror did not enjoy at all, unlike students who ate the salad, where people feel uncomfortable when seeing themselves eating food, and scientific facts confirm that eating in front of a mirror reduces the amount to a third.
– Move around a lot
Take a tour inside the house or at work or climb the stairs instead of the elevator, or play with children and do housework, all these extra movements throughout the day make you consume more energy and burn a lot of calories.
Take vitamin D.
Vitamin D is not only important in supporting the immune system and strengthening the bones and teeth, but also affects body fats, whether slowing the formation and storage of fat cells or the production of serotonin, which helps control appetite, so you should eat more eggs, fish, and foods rich in this vitamin.
Wear high-heeled shoes
Wearing high-heeled shoes maintains the straightness of your legs and spine, and this is like doing exercises, as high heels can weaken your stomach and move with it increases your effort, and thus increase the rate of calories.
Eat more spices
More spices can greatly help reduce appetite and thus lose weight, as the capsaicin found in hot peppers may also contribute to the loss of belly fat.
Black pepper prevents the formation of fat cells, and ginger and cinnamon control lowering blood sugar levels, and many calories are burned when consuming turmeric and cumin.
– Laugh a lot
Some studies indicated that laughing a lot increases the rate of burning calories and increases the heart rate. 10-15 minutes of laughter a day helps to reduce 10-40 calories per day.
Drink a lot of water
Eating water throughout the day can help you lose weight and lose belly fat, as another study found that women seeking to lose weight, and drinking just one liter of water can help lose 2 kg of weight.
Exposure to sunlight
Spending a few minutes outside every morning in sunlight can help with weight loss.
One small study found that exposure to moderate levels of light at certain times of the day can have an effect on weight, as this is caused by vitamin D.
