According to the activist punk rock group Pussy Riot and is a member of the group, Peter Verzilov, a day after he was arrested on Sunday, was sentenced to fifteen days in jail for cursing. Amnesty International subscribed to the interpretation of Pussy Riot on Twitter. “Russia, Verzilov locked up for harassment, and many of the policies of Putin in the room,” writes the human rights organization to call for Verzilov right to be free.
On Monday, it was announced that the band Sunday morning at his home in Moscow, has been arrested. Verzilov would be asked about his alleged part in the protests against the exclusion of candidates in the local elections in the country. It was going to be protests in the Russian capital in July 2019.
Pussy Riot is well known for his criticism of the Russian government. In 2018, was Verzilov, fifteen days in solitary confinement after he and two other band members in the final match of the world cup soccer field, did it run in order to protest against the policies of president Putin.
