Army Military Police Center (Puspomad) reveal the results of investigations related to viral videos TNI official car used by civilians. The resident who used the TNI official car was known as Suherman Winata alias Ahon.
“That Brother Suherman Winata alias Ahon has been asked for information at Mapuspomad and the Fortuner vehicle with the official registration plate number 3688-34 in green. army as well as registration number plates have been secured, “said Commander of the Indonesian Army Military Police (Danpuspomad) Lt. Gen. Dodik Widjanarko in his statement on Sunday (4/10/2020).
Dodik explained, the status of the TNI official car used by Ahon was lent to retired TNI AD Colonel Cpm (ret) Bagus Heru Sucahyo since 2017. Good will then be examined on Monday tomorrow.
“Against Colonel Cpm (ret) Bagus Heru Sucahyo, because he is domiciled in Bandung, he agreed to be present on Monday, October 5, 2020, to be asked for information and to show the completeness of vehicle documents (BPKB and STNK),” said Dodik.
He said granting licenses to borrow and use official vehicles for retired officers did not violate regulations. However, the official vehicle cannot be used by unauthorized parties.
Puspomad will give sanctions if a violation of the law is found. “If later, from all the results of the investigation, an initial evidence of violation of the law is found, it will be processed strictly in accordance with the applicable law,” said Dodik.
