Saturday night’s boxing fight between Zuti and Smirnov was like a revenge after the 2018 match, in which Zutis won by points at that time. In the revenge match in the heavyweight category, a total of four rounds were scheduled, however, in the third round the referee suspended the match after both violations and disqualified both.

The fight culminated in the third round, when Smirnov received the second penalty point – for pushing the opponent. However, soon after, during the current clinch, Zutis pushed his opponent to the ground and hit with his foot, in which Smirnov quickly grabbed and did not release until the referee Zuti pulled aside. When Smirnov got up on his feet, the fight was not resumed, because the referee signaled that the match would be stopped. As a result, both boxers were disqualified.
