Purworejo Police Chief Transferred and Under Investigation

SEMARANG, KOMPAS.com – Purworejo Police Chief, AKBP Victor Ziliwu was removed from his position and transferred to become Pamen Yanma of the National Police Headquarters after being reported to the Central Java (Central Java) Regional Police.

Head of Public Relations Central Java Regional PolicePolice Commissioner Stefanus Satake Bayu confirmed the removal.

“This is information mutation, Purworejo Police Chief has indeed received a transfer and has a replacement. “The person concerned was transferred in the context of evaluating his position,” he explained when met at the Central Java Regional Police Ditreskrimsus Office, Wednesday (27/9/2023).

The removal is carried out once it exists report against Victor Ziliwu to the Central Java Regional Police. However, he could not explain in detail the case that ensnared Victor Ziliwu.

“We will tell you what it is about,” he explained.

He said that the case involving Victor Ziliwu’s name was still in the investigation stage. This resulted in the reported party being pulled to Police Headquarters.

“So the person concerned was taken to the National Police Headquarters,” he said.

Report regarding the Victor Ziliwu case came several months ago.

“Essentially, investigations are still being carried out,” he said.

Currently the Purworejo Police Chief is AKBP Eko Sunaryo. Previously, AKBP Eko served as Head of Subdivision of the Rodaalpers SSDM Police Department.
