Purple sky for nursery technical malfunction | Home

In the night from Monday to Tuesday, residents of Beek en Donk and the surrounding area witnessed a lovely purple sky above the village. A technical malfunction in the Vererijen Kwekerijen tomato nursery resulted in a wonderful display of colors which many were able to appreciate.

“To make things more sustainable and reduce energy consumption, we are switching to LED lighting,” the tomato nursery wrote on Facebook Tuesday. “Unfortunately, a technical malfunction occurred last night, whereby the blackout curtains were not closed, resulting in light emissions.”

The company apologizes for the inconvenience, but it doesn’t seem necessary. The reactions under the message are mostly positive. ‘I really liked seeing him’ and ‘He was a super beautiful face this morning’, the followers reply to the message.
