The authors of Baldur’s Gate III continue to work on optimization, but a modification developer decided to make his contribution PureDark. He noticeably improved performance in The Last of Us: Part I, and now he’s made a mod that adds support DLSS 3 into creation Running.
He showed a demonstration of his work in the third act. At this point, the game seriously loads the processor, and the frame rate drops, which also affected the PlayStation 5 version. But with DLSS 3, the game produces a stable 60 FPS or higher on a system with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card.
However, the modification is only available to paid PureDark subscribers. Perhaps someone will make a free version – this is exactly what happened with the DLSS 3 mod in Starfield.
