“All are artists from the Guts musical family”, specifies Vincent Laurens, alias DJ Twent’ies, who will also be mixing during the evening. The doors will open at 6 p.m. with entertainment offered by A Ti Te Toca, an association offering playful wooden games from South America for young and old.
The musical part will begin around 7 p.m. with Mambo Chick, who comes straight from Guadeloupe. The DJ will mix in duo with DJ Twent’ies. Then, at 9 p.m., the American headliner will sit behind the console: “Nickodemus has a style at New York level, it is technically above it,” assures the organizer. The artist and producer has just released a new album and is stopping off in Auch during his European tour.
Finally, the Cuban Cami Layé Okún will take over at 11 p.m. to continue this Afrotropical evening, for which a quadraphonic sound system in “Boiler room” mode will be installed. “The DJs mix in the middle of the audience and the sound is broadcast from the four corners of the space, defines Vincent Laurens. In fact, it’s a bit like a 100 m² arena, in the open air”.
