“Twhat are you doing?” asks a small dark head hidden behind large round glasses. Her neighbor, a smile full of missing teeth, is delighted to show her her lion with a black and brown mane. “Scaaar“, she exclaims with boundless energy.
Both are educated at the Montessori Les Éclaireuses school in Draguignan.
But for the second time, they are playing in the big leagues! Those of the Léon-Blum high school.

“We had to redo their room, we thought we could take care of it ourselves. And since we specialize in children’s entertainment, we contacted the Montessori school.”
Apprentices are 6 to 9 years old. The older ones painted the walls, while the younger ones painted on half walls. Thus, the four seasons, the savannah, the countryside came to life for an afternoon.
“But the project is much broader than manual work, explains Caroline Romeyer, teacher. The students of AEPA analyzed the needs of their classmates, called on the technicians of the school to supervise them. And they also conducted a financial feasibility study. Impeccable.”
Roxane Bruesle, Eclaireuses educator explains: “This activity fell on time because we are studying street art. We will say that thanks to high school students they can practice! It’s only happiness.“
Especially since the experience does not stop there. Head to the kitchens to prepare a well-deserved snack… Apple pie, chocolate fondant, cookies and popcorn.
An activity far from leaving kids indifferent.
