The regional governor of Puno, Agustín Luque Chayña, reported that an agreement was signed with the Ministry of Health and the National University of Engineering for the installation of an oxygen generating plant in the province of Sandia.
The authority said that this agreement seeks to serve the population of the Puno jungle during the pandemic. Likewise, it delivered a type III ambulance, which must enter into operation to attend to emergencies that arise in the area
“From the regional entity, we have made an effort to strengthen the health system, to fight this virus, with the acquisition of equipment for the Executing Units, and we will continue working for the welfare of the population”, he emphasized.
For his part, the provincial mayor of Sandia, Adán Málaga, stated that the Municipal Council approved donating an area of land of 70 square meters in session of use, for the installation of said plant.
