The “Punkt 12” presenter keeps her private life largely out of the public eye, but for the 14th birthday of her youngest daughter, Katja shares a sweet baby picture on Instagram.
Cologne – Although Katja Burkard herself is in public, she usually keeps her family out of the spotlight. The “Punkt 12” presenter rarely gives insights into her family happiness with her life partner (“One would be dead!”), Former RTL editor-in-chief Hans Mahr, and their daughters Marie-Therese and Katharina Mahr. But on the 14th birthday of her youngest daughter, the 55-year-old published a cute picture of herself and her daughter on Instagram. In the picture, the new mom is holding her second baby and beaming into the camera. Katja writes about the emotional photo that Katharina was her sunshine baby. “I am proud and happy every day that I am your mom – because you are not only very, very funny, but also have a huge heart, fire, courage and fighting spirit,” writes the TV star under the Instagram post. The previously unseen baby recordings of Katja Burkard’s daughter inspire her followers, who shower her daughter with birthday wishes. One user even thought that the review photo was a current picture of Katja and commented under the photo that the presenter had not aged a year.
Mama Katja welcomes her daughter very excitedly at “Punkt 12”
Only recently, thanks to her parents with TV experience, Katja’s daughter Marie-Therese was allowed to report as a guest on “Punkt 12” about the Corona situation in Madrid. The 19-year-old young journalist is currently studying in the Spanish capital, which is why Mama Katja has made sure that her oldest daughter can also get a taste of TV. The presenter was obviously more nervous than her daughter and later wrote in an Instagram post that she was as excited as she had been in 12 years. Katja Burkard has been the presenter of “Punkt 12” since 1997, and has been with the former RTL editor-in-chief since 1998. The couple lives in Cologne with their two daughters. Katja keeps her life with Hans and the children private as much as possible, and the 55-year-old doesn’t post much about her private life on Instagram either. In addition to her work at “Punkt 12”, super woman Katja published the biography “Menopause? No panic!”, about her experience with menopause.
